Hair Dresser

For some reason I don't have a picture of these decorations once put on the cupcakes. Here they are drying! A newly engaged hair stylist!

3-Tiered Wedding Cake

Although cupcakes are our specialty we do occasionally dabble in cakes. We created a 3-tiered wedding cake for a couple just today. The customers wanted to include more "casual" bride & groom figurines and calla lilies (which were the bride's bouquet flower). They wanted the middle tier of the cake to be "fun" and the top and bottom tiers to be more simple and elegant. Here's what we came up with...

Wedding Cupcakes

We created an order of cupcakes for a wedding last weekend. We didn't deliver or set up - the happy couple took care of it all themselves - but they did tell us that their wedding colours were reminiscent of "algonquin in october" so we covered the cupcakes in a variety of autunm-y coloured leaves.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HAPPY COUPLE!

Wedding Cupcake Tower

Order #2 of the weekend was a cupcake tower for a wedding. The bride had already arranged a small cutting cake but wanted the guests to each enjoy a personal little cake of their own flavour choice. Ta da!

Bachelorette Mini Cupcakes

Our customer wanted to reflect the "spa" theme of the bachelorette party she was throwing but also really liked the more, he-hem, adult bachelorette cupcakes we've done previously so we suggested we do both! A kind of good vs. evil motif.

Engagement Cupcakes

We were asked to create cupcakes for an intimate engagement party. We decided to go with a "tree" motif because of, you know, the blooming love? The blossoming relationship? I don't know, you get the idea...

Wedding Cupcakes

We had the good fortune of creating a wedding tower for a happy couple yesterday. It included a 6" cutting cake at the top and then a combination of large and mini cupcakes. The weather was perfect and so we were able to set it up out in the gazebo where the reception was being held (given the I'd-bang-my-head-against-the-wall-if-I-had-the-energy-to-move HUMIDITY we've been experiencing as of late we really thought the cupcakes would need to be kept in a nicely air-conditioned hall of some kind). The venue was beautiful. Congratulations to Em & J!

First Things First

We had the opportunity to create our first "adult themed" cupcakes last weekend for a bachelorette party. These were SO FUN to make and we were lucky enough to make cupcakes for this same bride's wedding this afternoon. Those pictures to follow shortly!

The Perfect Favour

Newlyweds wanted to give their guests each a couple of mini cupcakes as a favour to thank them for coming to their wedding celebration. Each box contained 2 minis - one with the bride's and groom's initials and the other with flowers:

The boxes also contained some personalized Hersey's Kisses and were tied up with beautiful bright ribbon.

The pefect party take-away!

Pretty Wedding Shower Cupcakes

Cupcakes for a wedding shower. We were told that the bride's theme colour was lavendar and that she loves daisies... voila!
