Shoe Cupcakes, Purse Cupcakes and Dog Eating a Book Cupcakes!

Our last order of the weekend was birthday cupcakes for a woman who likes bags and shoes. These are just a few examples of the entire order. The birthday girl also recently lost an important book to her chocolate lab puppy dog so we recreated the scene via cupcake...

Noah's Ark Cupcakes Take 2

We've done the Noah's Ark cupcakes a few times now and don't usually post pictures of repeat jobs but I fell in love with these little monkeys a little bit and I'm having a hard time saying good-bye (pic taken with my phone - sorry for the poor quality)

Under The Sea

This past weekend we had the opportunity to produce a Little Mermaid cupcake tower for a girl's 5th birthday celebration. The tower, unfortunately, was set up in the back room of the venue where there was no natural light and the walls were this appalling shade of mustard yellow (ick) and, thus, I'm not too happy with the pictures, but what can you do?!

Flounder and various other designs

Sebastian, of course, next to one of the evil eels and below them, King Triton's trident, various bits of coral, shells, star fish, etc.

It was a ton of work but in the end I was really happy with the result as was the birthday girl which is the most important thing (but I do secretly wish the lighting had produced some better pictures!)

Brown Bear, Brown Bear

For a little boy's first birthday we had a request to come up with cupcakes themed around his favourite book - Eric Carle's "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" Here's a shot of all the animals and then a few of the cupcakes next to the images that inspired them:

Taurus Bulls... OLE!

A couple of little Taurus Bulls were turning one, so their mothers decided to theme their party around Spanish bull fighting. What a fabulous and unique idea for a first birthday celebration!


Cupcakes are vanilla with vanilla buttercream and red velvet (of course) with cream cheese icing.

There's No Better Way To Say Thank You...

... than with cupcakes! And who deserves a bigger thank you than our veterinarians?! A very special cupcake order for a very special vet from a very special kitty cat:

Spring Is In The Air...

... and that means it's cupcake season! Or at least it appears to be. The Yummy Mummys received a ton of cupcake orders with an Easter or spring theme. It IS pretty hard to resist a delicious cupcake covered in buttercream piped grass and covered with little fondant bunnies and duckies :).

Ooh, did I mention we not only sent out Easter cupcakes but Easter CAKE POPS? Cake on a stick... mmmm. Conveniently portioned, delicious and super cute. What more could a person ask for?
