The Story:
Tarra and Kirstin have followed in the glorious footsteps of all famous cupcake makers. We worked in advertising. And now? We make cupcakes (in fact, in our spare time we are conducting research based on the theory that ad agencies are being funded by pharmaceutical companies that manufacture medication for type 2 diabetes and are brainwashing their employees to Bake. Eat. Spread the cupcakes to the people... Pimp. Da. Sugar.)
Anyway, after each birthing a couple of babies, we ad mongers decided it was time to start listening to the voices in our heads and Pimp the Sugar. We have always loved baking but obviously couldn’t launch a company without the proper education and so for a couple of gruelling years we both attended the very prestigious French baking school L’Ecole Prétendre de Patisserie (no seriously... it’s a real thing... Just, uhhhh, don’t bother to look it up because it’s so exclusive that you won’t find anything. And unfortunately our diplomas were both eaten by a dog in a freak boating accident, he-hem). So even though we have hella qualifications, yo, the proof is in the icing. All you need to know is: We make cupcakes. They are delicious. We can create crazy mind-blowing decorations that will make your cupcakes the talk of the town (or at least the talk of your party because let’s face it Toronto has, what, 2.5 million people in it? and we don't want to lie - some of those people MAY not talk about your cupcakes. We are sorry for your loss).
We do weddings, corporate events, birthdays, showers and what says “thank you” or “get well soon” better than a big box of delicious cupcakes with something oozy in the middle of it and some cream cheese icing on top and... mmm... Pimp. The. Sugar.
