Alice in Wonderland

We are a little late updating these photos. These cupcakes were ordered in the spring for a production party. All 60 cupcakes were decorated in the Alice in Wonderland theme.

Fairy Cupcakes

Fairy themed cupcakes for little Ashlyn who is celebrating her 1st birthday! Perfect party flavours - chocolate and vanilla! All decorations are edible.

Barbie Cake and Beauty and the Beast Cupcakes

We completed our first Barbie Cake for an event yesterday. This one was Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She is sitting atop a tower of beauty and the beast themed cupcakes. The lighting at th event did not make for great pictures but you get the idea...

The beast:

Mrs. Potts and Chip:

This is the little footstool/dog. It was raining pretty heavily when we delivered the order and I think you can still see a few rain drops on this guy!

The rose that counts down the beast's fate!

It was a ton of fun to make the Barbie cake and we can't wait to try it again :) the decos were also a blast. I'd forgotten how much I love that movie!

Pretty Princess

Every little girl is a princess

Shoe Cupcakes, Purse Cupcakes and Dog Eating a Book Cupcakes!

Our last order of the weekend was birthday cupcakes for a woman who likes bags and shoes. These are just a few examples of the entire order. The birthday girl also recently lost an important book to her chocolate lab puppy dog so we recreated the scene via cupcake...

Abby In Wonderland Cupcakes!

A little girl who loves Elmo and her Abby In Wonderland movie (if you hadn't guessed it's a take on Alice In Wonderland, Sesame Street style). Elmo is the white, well, red rabbit, grover is the mad hatter, ernie and bert are tweedle dum and tweedle dee, there's a "T" party (pah ha!). You get the general idea...

What do Cinderella and a Lawn Mower Have In Common?

Well, they were both put on the top of a cupcake for a recent order! A little girl was celebrating her 4th birthday and she's into (gasp!) Princesses! So we did a dozen Cinderella themed cupcakes along with a box of pretty mini cupcakes and, finally, a couple of cupcakes for her little brother who is turning 2. He's pretty much just into lawnmowers...

Under The Sea

This past weekend we had the opportunity to produce a Little Mermaid cupcake tower for a girl's 5th birthday celebration. The tower, unfortunately, was set up in the back room of the venue where there was no natural light and the walls were this appalling shade of mustard yellow (ick) and, thus, I'm not too happy with the pictures, but what can you do?!

Here's Ariel in all her red-headed glory!

Flounder and various other designs

Sebastian, of course, next to one of the evil eels and below them, King Triton's trident, various bits of coral, shells, star fish, etc.

It was a ton of work but in the end I was really happy with the result as was the birthday girl which is the most important thing (but I do secretly wish the lighting had produced some better pictures!)

Sugar and Spice

We had a request for cupcakes for a little girl's first birthday. Girlie cupcakes are always fun - there are so many possibilities!

Beach Babe Birthday

We had a request for birthday cupcakes for a woman who likes cottage life, the beach, her flip-flops (ah, a woman after my own heart, and #1 choice in footwear):

Cupcake flavours were vanilla with vanilla buttercream, strawberry with strawberry buttercream and lemon with lemon curd buttercream.

All Things Girlie

A little girl's 11th birthday was celebrated with cupcakes including all kinds of girlie things: make-up, shoes, purses, flowers. Cute, cute, cute:
